Serbian choir Sv. After a break of more than three months, Serafim Sarovski returned to the stage - Vidovan in Budapest!
We put on a full-length concert as part of the Theatre and Culture Days in Lórév festival on June 27th, where the choir’s new repertoire was premiered.
A day later, on June 28th, we participated in a traditional Vidovdan marathon organized by The Serbian Theatre in Hungary, along with its seasoned actors. During this event, we visited the places inhabited by our compatriots. It was wonderful to realize that there are so many temples, historical figures, and different events that testify to the role of the Serbian people in the present-day Hungary over the past three and a half centuries.
We came to this realization through conversations with the members of Serbian clergy, our friends, and Serbian people we visited in Lórév, Ráckeve, Szigetcsép, Százhalombatta, Budapest, Budakalász, Pomáz, and Szentendre.
We managed to ennoble them with music and poetry!
We thank the Serbian Culture and Media Centre, Serbian Theatre in Hungary, and numerous other friends
