
Aleksandar Tolimir
Aleksandar Tolimir (tenor) is a prominent member of the choir of the Opera of the Serbian National Theater in Novi Sad, in which, in addition to the regular opera and concert repertoire, he also participates in the performance of many premiere productions of this house. He started his choral singing journey in the renowned choir Josif Marinkovic , in which, under the direction of maestro Slobodan Bursać, he performed at the most important world festivals: Langolen, Nerpelt, Debrecen, Varna … Aleksandar Tolimir is a permanent or guest member and soloist in many amateur and professional choir ensembles: Choir Venerable Raphael of Banat, Kir Stefan Srbin, Vojvodina mixed choir, klapa Panon, Serbian choir Saint Seraphim of Sarov, Vocal studio Orfelin etc.). Collaboration with renowned choral conductors offered him the opportunity to perform at numerous concerts and competitions all over the world (Serbia, Germany, Denmark, Sweden, Italy, Spain, Great Britain, Hungary, Austria, Republic of Srpska, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Croatia, Switzerland, Russia, Poland, Australia, etc.).
In 2019 He successfully collaborated with the RTS Choir and Symphony Orchestra and conductor Bojan Sudjić in the solo interpretation of the tenor section in the cantata. Carmine Burana Karl Orff on the most important stages in the country (Niš, Belgrade, Negotin). Aleksandar Tolimir received an award for the interpretation of the role of Mujezin in the opera Knyaz Ivo of Semberija by Isidor Bajić.
