
Miloš Milojević
Miloš Milojević (bass) graduated from the Academy of Arts in Novi Sad majoring in solo singing, and completed master studies at the Faculty of Philosophy in Novi Sad at the department of Russian language and literature.
As a member of the Chorus of the National Theatre in Belgrade, he sang in the following operas: G. Verdi (Nabucco, Aida, Otello, Il trovatore (The Troubadour), La traviata (The Fallen Woman), La forza del destino (The Power of Fate), Un ballo in maschera (A Masked Ball), Don Carlos); G. Puccini (La bohème, Tosca, Il tabarro (The Cloak), Suor Angelica (Sister Angelica)); G. Rossini (L’italiana in Algeri (The Italian Girl in Algiers), La Cenerentola (Cinderella)); V. Bellini (Norma); G. Bizet (Carmen); P.I. Tchaikovsky (Eugene Onegin); R. Leoncavallo (Pagliacci); P. Mascagni (Cavalleria Rusticana); W.A. Mozart (The Magic Flute, Don Giovanni); G. Donizetti (L’elisir d’amore (The Elixir of Love); J. Strauss (Die Fledermaus (The Flittermouse)); G. Bregović (Queen Margot), P. Konjović (Koštana); U. Giordano (Andrea Chénier); S. Binički (At Dawn).
He performed as a soloist at the following operas: U. Giordano, Andrea Chénier (Master of the Household, the Public Prosecutor); P. Konjović, Koštana (Third Citizen); W.A. Mozart, Bastien and Bastienne (Colas); S. Binički, At Dawn (one of the people); He also sang the role of Priest Oluja in D. Despić’s opera Priest Ćira and Priest Spira. He also collaborated with the Academy of Arts and Culture in Osijek, where he sang the role of Simone in Puccini’s opera Gianni Schicchi. In Novi Sad, he collaborated with the Academy of Arts where he sang the role of Geronimo in D. Chimarosa’s Il matrimonio segreto (The Secret Marriage) as part of the academic course named opera studio.
Miloš Milojević performed at important events and concert halls in his homeland and abroad (Greece, Russia, Germany, Poland, Austria, Italy, Great Britain, Denmark, Sweden, Montenegro, Croatia, Macedonia, Hungary, Slovakia, Romania, Spain, Bosnia, and Herzegovina, Switzerland, Australia, Bulgaria). He attended solo singing masterclasses taught by Hon Lee (South Korea) 2012; Claudia Eder (Germany), 2019; and Olga Makarina (USA) 2020.
He was awarded scholarships by The Melanie Bugarinović and daughter Mirjana Kanilović-Kalin Fund for the improvement of youth’s vocal arts on multiple occasions.
He won the 1st prize, as well as a laureate title on the 1st International solo singing competition Vera Kovač Vatkai in Novi Sad in 2014. Other than being a musician, Miloš Milojević also tried his hand at filming short commercial videos for television. He is a fluent speaker of Russian, English, and Polish.
