Serbian choir St. Seraphim of Sarov
The choir has successfully spread the word about its patron saint and the Lord’s glory throughout Serbia and the diaspora (Germany, Denmark, Sweden, Great Britain, Hungary, Austria, Republic of Srpska, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Croatia, Switzerland, Russia, Poland, Australia, etc.) with its rich and diverse concert activity.
The choir’s repertoire consists of the most beautiful choral pieces by Serbian and Russian composers and as a sizeable opus of patriotic songs.
Serbian choir St. Seraphim of Sarov has received many accolades and awards for its achievements, the most prominent ones being the Award of Zrenjanin City (2014) for contributions to culture, and the Order of St. Bishop Nikolaj awarded to them by the Serbian Orthodox Church in 2016.
Serbian choir St. Seraphim of Sarov is composed of professional choir singers and a conductor, employed in the Opera of the Serbian National Theatre in Novi Sad, the National Theatre in Belgrade, and the Academy of Arts in Novi Sad.
